Packing Light

Packing Light

Just over a week now until I go, and I am going to pack this weekend

For some time I have been practicing “Travelling Light” While not always sticking to carry on only, I do like to have a small case that is not too heavy..After all, I am the one who has to lug that case around.

There are many options that Google pops up with when you search “Packing Light” I was particularly inspired by this one.. here

The images below are the result. As well as the items shown, I have included a pair of pyjamas and a number of scarves. As I have a mix of short sleeve and long sleeve tops, I will be able to layer up for most weather conditions  It is not going to be too cold for the 3 weeks I am in Europe, so no need for thermal underwear 🙂

The long sleeved Black T-Shirt dress will be worn on the plane with black tights and ballet flats, acting as a comfortable nightdress and slippers while still looking “human” in business class.

Things To Do

Things To Do

Arising from a great nights sleep, we made breakfast and headed out to look at the surrounding national park.

Following the visitors guide, we visited a number of lovely lookouts and waterfalls

We finished up at Puddle Ducks Cafe for a really nice pizza for lunch.

After lunch, we went back to our cottage, lit a cozy fire and settled in for another relaxing night.

Mouse House – Springbrook September 2014

Mouse House – Springbrook September 2014

We are off on a much needed break for the weekend.   Our lovely friends John and Lois gave us two nights at the Mouses House Rainforest Retreat as a birthday gift.

We left home just before lunch for the 2.5 hr trip to the Gold Coast hinterland, and checked into our cottage just after 2:30.

The cottage is very cute, with a fireplace, spa and lovely big comfy bed.   A couple of steaks on the BBQ, a few wines in front of the fire and we relaxed nicely. 🙂
