It has been a while since we have travelled to Tasmania. CoVid19 put a stop to many people’s travel plans our’s included. We have missed a number of family occasions and travel has been almost impossible except for within our own state.

Although the pandemic continues, border restrictions have somewhat loosened and we are able to travel to Tasmania for our Christmas/New Year holiday.

This trip is especially exciting as we will be visiting the block of land we have bought to eventually retire to.

We will have Christmas Day with family, then we are spending Boxing Day evening at a motel near Brisbane airport before leaving on an early morning flight to Hobart.

Our bags are packed, we have all our relevant paperwork in place and we are keeping our fingers crossed that all goes smoothly.
