We are off on a much needed break for the weekend. Our lovely friends John and Lois gave us two nights at the Mouses House Rainforest Retreat as a birthday gift.
We left home just before lunch for the 2.5 hr trip to the Gold Coast hinterland, and checked into our cottage just after 2:30.
The cottage is very cute, with a fireplace, spa and lovely big comfy bed. A couple of steaks on the BBQ, a few wines in front of the fire and we relaxed nicely. 🙂
The cottages are all named for the characters from Snow White. 
Each cottage is nestled in the rainforest. 
The living area has a lovely fireplace.
