We  have decided to add a wall to the kitchen to hide the fridge and allow for cabinets above the fridge.

I put a call out on the local Facebook Community Board to find a builder who would be happy to do this small job.

I posted this picture…

I received a message back from “David” a local handyman.   He duly came out to give me a quote and I found out he is actually an electrician by trade.  This is VERY handy as he is able to be our electrician for the project too 🙂

He is coming soon to build the wall and add in a new powerpoint for the fridge and another one piggybacking for for the printer.

At present they are all running off an extension lead on the back wall.

The next job was to empty the pantry in preparation for his work.

I have downsized our wall unit when we painted recently, and had a section of wall unit in the shed.  I decided this would make a suitable (if not a bit squishy) pantry for the next few weeks.

I managed to  put the side table that is normally beside the couch behind it as well as some appliances and kitchen items that I hopefully will not need to go hunting for in the next little while 🙂
I had a small outdoor side table that is pefect for my cup of tea for now 🙂
